The Tradeoff Between Child Quality and Child Quantity in China:Use Quantile Regression Analysis

Abstract:The paper analysis the tradeoff between child quality and child in China.Using data from the "China Health and Nutrition Survey,CHNS"(2009) examines the effect of family size on child quality.We find a negative correlation between family size on children's height and children's education,and child's gender,parent's education,family location,family longtime welfare level,has different sex siblings all affect child's quality.
