Abstract:Objective To study the level,status and characteristic of subjective well-being in nursing students at different levels of education and to provide credible information for the mental health education for these students.Methods 116 students at the level of secondary nursing education,and 381 on associate program and 79 on bachelor program in nursing college of Zhengzhou university were evaluated by using General Well-being Schedule(GWB) and generic demology questionnaire.Results There was no significant difference in subjective well-being between associate and bachelor groups(P0.05).The students at the level of secondary education had a higher sense of well-being(P0.05).Although significant differences were not existed among in these groups in items such as sex,coming from,relationship and income.The sense of general well-being scores of the nursing students adopting of a democratic-type rearing styles of were significantly higher than laissez-faire(P0.05).Conclusion Mental health education of nursing students should be optimized according to their levels of education.
