Information technology capability measurement & efficiency: model construct and an empirical research in chinese background

Abstract:Through reviewing the relevant literature and case investigation,we summarize the components of the information technology capability.And specifically,we use the empirical study to verify that information technology capability is comprised of four dimensions, IT architecture and routine,IT infrastructure,human IT resource and IT relationship assets.Moreover,we design the index system of information technology capability.On the basis of a large-scale questionnaire investigation,this paper finally examines the IT capabil- ity's contribution to performance based on 145 valid samples.The findings indicate that,IT capability is positively associated with firm' s performance.Among the IT capability' s contribution to performance ;the effects of different capabilities are different.
