Abstract:The experiment were studied the effect of Saline-alkali stress on growth, water potential, content of osmotic regulations and selective absorption to K+ and Na+ in oats under four different soil salt concentration. The result showed that growth was re-strained,the water potential of leaf and root decreased with increasing salinity in both breeds, and the decline of water potential of Avena nuda L.was greater than that of Avena Sativa L,which indicated that Avena nuda L.was sensitive to salt than Avena Sativa L.The absorption of Na+ has increased and the absorption of K+ has decreased with increasing salinity,so w(Na+)/w(K+)and S Na+ K+ had increased. The osmotic regulation in oats is mainly by means of synthesizing or accumulating organic solute and absorbing or accumulating mineral ions.
