Determination value of serum IL-16,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and prealbumin in patients with COPD

Abstract:Objective It is to explore the determination value of serum IL-16,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and prealbumin(PA) in patients with COPD.Methods 78 cases of patients with COPD were chosen,and 18 healthy persons were collected as control group,and the levels of IL-16,hs-CRP and PA in these subjects were detected to observe the relationship between the indexes above and the severity of COPD.Results The serum levels of IL-16 and hs-CRP in acute exacerbation group were higher than those in remission group,while those makers in remission group also higher compared with healthy control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);and the level of PA in the healthy control group was higher than that in remission group,while the level of PA in remission group was higher compared with acute exacerbation group.The levels of IL-16 and hs-CRP elevated as the grade of lung function increased,while the level of PA was opposite.Conclusion IL-16,hs-CRP and PA play a part in the development and progression of COPD,it is of great significance to understand the severity of COPD and the extent of damage in lung function from detection of serum IL-16,hs-CRP and PA.
