Abstract:The Fifth Undergraduate Chemistry Experiment Contest of Zhejiang Province was concluded in October 2012.As compared to the previous format in which the theoretical test can combine the experimental skill demonstration well,this year's contest had significant changes in the format of participation,topic selection,assessment and scoring method.The new format can greatly promote undergraduate students' creative thinking and innovation skills and can also consolidate what they have learnt from the experiment courses.It has also raised much higher requirements on the traditional chemistry experiment teaching system.
