Abstract:By analyzing the characteristics of the container ports and its traffic constitutes,the process of traffic system planning is discussed,including investigation and analysis,traffic demand forecast and the traffic organization of important port zones.In this paper the traffic of ports is divided into the collecting and distributing traffic and non-collecting and non-distributing one.The emphasis in this study is the collecting and distributing traffic,especially its traffic demand forecast.All these methods are fully applied in the planning and design of Shenzhen ports.
