Abstract:Objective To study the chemical constituents from the pericarps of G.mangostana L.and search for the bioactive natural products.Methods All compounds were isolated by repeated Silica gel and RP-18 column chromatography.Their structures were determined by various spectral methods.Results Seven compounds were isolated from G.mangostana L.and their structures were identified by means of spectroscopic analysis as: alpha-mangostin(1).betta-mangostin(2).gartanin(3).8-deoxygartanin(4).betta-Sitosterol(5).tetrahydrothwaitesixanthone(6).rutin(7).Conclusion Compounds betta-Sitosterol(5).tetrahydrothwaitesixanthone(6).and rutin(7).are found for the first time in the pericarp of G.ostana.L.

Abstract:The liposoluble components from the pulp of Acanthopanax senticosus ( Rupr. et Maxim) Harms were analyzed by GC- MS computer technology. 63 compounds were obtained and 13 of them were identified by means of indexing the spectrum storeroom. Abstract:The liposoluble constituents from the aril, husk and kernel of longan were studied. The gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and computer spectrum searching technique were applied. 15, 34 and 33 compounds were identified from the petroleum ether extracts of the aril, husk and kernel of longan respectively. The study on the liposoluble constituents of the aril, husk and kernel of longan provided the test basis for the further development and utilization of Dimocarpus Longan Lour resources.

Abstract:In this paper,the composition and contents of inorganic elements in fruit pericarp and pedicel of Garcinia mangostana L.were studied.Inorganic Elements in fruit pericarp and pedicel samples were determined by ICP-AES instrument.The results showed that there were 18 kinds of inorganic elements in pericarp and there 21 kinds of inorganic elements in pedicel.Among of them,the contents were of Ca、Mg、P were higher than others.

Abstract:AIM:To study the chemical constituents of the dried leaves and stems of Garcinia multiflora.METHODS:The dried leaves and stems of Garcinia multiflora were extracted with 75% alcohol at boiling temper-ature,The extract was evaporated at reduced pressure,which was mixed with water and then extracted with petrole-um ether.Many column chromatographic methods were used for the separation.Their structures were deduced by NMR and MS.RESULTS:Five compounds(Ⅰ-Ⅴ) were isolated from the petroleum ether extract.Their struc-tures were identified as friedelan-3-one(Ⅰ),friedelin-3β-ol(Ⅱ),putric acid(Ⅲ),1,6-dihydroxy-3,7-dime-thoxyxanthone(Ⅳ),β-sitosterol(Ⅴ).CONCLUSION:CompoundsⅠ-Ⅴ are isolated from Garcinia multiflora for the first time,and compounds Ⅲ and Ⅳ are isolated from Guttiferae for the first time.

Abstract:The Garcinia mangostana L pericarp was used as a raw material to study on the kinds, contents and antioxidant of plant polyphenol. The results showed that the Garcinia mangostana L pericarp was rich in polyphenol, such as condensed polyphenol, hydrolysable polyphenol and flavnoid. The contents of total polyphenol,procyanidins and total flavnoid are 15.5%±1.9% ,8.56%±1.40%, and 6.52% ±2.14%, respectively.The pericarp extract were purified by LSA-21, and the 40% alcohol elution had the strongest antioxidant activity.The IC_(50)value of DPPH · ,· OH and O_2~-· radical scavenging capabilities are 32.5±0.5,55.1±0.7,25.3±0.6μg/mL,respectively.

Abstract:Fat-soluble components in seed of Litchi chinensis were extracted by Soxlet extraction method.The fat-soluble components were esterified and then analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.30 fat-soluble components were identified respectively.9-octadecenoic acid,9,12-octadecadienoic acid,hexadecanoic acid,octadecanoic acid and 2-octyl- cyclopropaneoctanoic acid are the chief components,and their relative contents are 30.42%,11.77%,8.74%,4.94% and 32.93% respectively.The fat-soluble components in seed of Litchi chinensis have high nutritional and healthy fuction,and further development and application potential.

Abstract:Objective: To analyze the fat-soluble components of Lycopus lucidus.Method: The fat-soluble components were extracted by cold-soak extraction,and GC-MS was used to analyze their components.Result:Twenty compounds were extracted from the L.lucidus.22 compounds were identified,amounting for 75.19% of the total constituents.Conclusion: The esters were the main components,amounting for 38.67% of the total,followed by sesquiterpene amounting for 26.58%.

Abstract:The air-dried fruit hulls of Garcinia mangostana Linn. were extracted with 85% ethanol. Furthermore, a new xanthone, 1,3,6-trihydroxy-2,5-bis(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-6',6'-dimethyl-4',5'-dihydropyrano[2',3' : 7,8]xanthone, along with five known xanthones related to their antioxidant activity was purified by silica gel column chromatography and then identified using spectroscopic methods (1D and 2D NMR, MS). The antioxidant activities were evaluated using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavenging capability. An activity-guided isolation and purification process were used to identify the components, showing the strong DPPH radical-scavenging activity of G. mangostana.

Abstract:The fatty acids in seeds of Anacardium occidentale L.were extracted by Soxhlet extraction were identified by GC-MS after been esterified to discuss the feasibility of analyzing the fatty acids in seeds of Anacardium occidentale L.by GC-MS.The results showed that 16 compounds were isolated and identified,which was 99.84% of the total fatty acids.The composition of fatty acids in seeds of Macadamia spp.included 9-octadecenoic acids(38.02%),9,12-octadecadienoic acid(39.66%),palmitic acid(6.45%),9-hexadecenoic acid(3.13%),octadecanoic acid(3.09%),and linolenic acid(4.34%).

Abstract:The purpose of our study is to establish the method of fatty acid extraction and of GC-MS testing and to extract the fatty acid of Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz.and to give a quantitative analysis of its GC-MS.The samples were obtained by the method of Soxlet extraction,analyzed by methyl esterification and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The result shows the identification of 18 fatty acids in Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz.The major components of fatty acids are linolenic acid(38.76%),methyl ester-tetracosanoic acid(20.67%) and methyl ester-14-methyl-hexadecanoic acid(19.55%).

Abstract:Objective To analyze and identify the chemical compositions from Garcinia mangostana crude extracts by liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry( LC- ESI- MS),and screening the α- glucosidase and xanthine oxidase inhibitors from G. mangostana. Methods The analysis was processed by means of a reversed phase C18 column and a binary mobile phase system consisting of methanol and 0. 02% acetic acid aqueous under a gradient condition,Linear gradients:0- 2 min,13% B,2- 40 min,13%- 50% B; Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry( ESI- MS) under the negative ion mode to detect the chemical constituents. α- glucosidase and xanthine oxidase were employed as the target enzyme,and the ultrafiltration MS technique was employed to screen the inhibitors. Results Five chemical compounds from G. mangostana including 3- isomangostin,Mangostanol,8- desoxygartanin,Gartanin and α- mangostin respectively were separated and detected. The chemical compounds mentioned above all could be affinity with xanthine oxidase,and the chemical compounds mentioned above except of gartanin could be affinity with α- glucosidase. Conclusion The technique of HPLC / MS can quickly analyze and identify the compounds in Garcinia mangostana and provide structural information. Further more,screening the active compounds by using of ultrafiltration MS have the advantage of rapid and sensitive.

Abstract:[Objectives]This paper aimed to analyze the liposoluble components in seeds of different bitter gourd germplasms. [Methods]Taking 3 bitter gourd germplasms from different sources as materials, the composition and relative contents of liposoluble components in the seeds were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（GC-MS）. [Results]A total of 22, 18 and 18 compounds were detected from Papua, Y7 and Y108, respectively, accounting for 38.63%, 90.20% and 92.53% of the total liposoluble components. Among them, eight liposoluble components were unique to Papua, and two liposoluble components were unique to Y108. The composition and relative contents of liposoluble components differ among different bitter gourd germplasms. The main chemical components were γ-tocopherol, vitamin E, and β-tocopherol. The content of γ-tocopherol was high in the three germplasms, accounting for 8.885%, 20.090% and 20.314%, respectively. [Conclusions]This study can lay the foundation for breeding functional bitter gourd varieties.

Abstract:According to response surface methodology (RSM), the extraction conditions of ultrasound-assisted extraction of polysaccharide from the rinds of Garcinia mangostana L. (GMRP) were optimized and determined. The optimal conditions obtained through optimization were: the liquid to material ratio was 40 mL/g, ultrasonic power was 288 W and extraction time was 65 min. The average extraction rate of GMRP was 14.73%. Ac - GMRP was obtained by acetylation of GMRP, and the antioxidant activities of the two polysaccharides were compared in vitro . The results indicated that the antioxidant capacity of polysaccharide obtained after acetylation was significantly improved compared with that of GMRP. In conclusion, chemical modification of polysaccharide is an effective measure to improve its properties to a certain extent. Meanwhile, it implies that GMRP has great research value and potential.
