Study on Approach for Web Service Discovery Based on Ontology

Abstract:According to the traditional web services discovery accuracy was low,an approach for web service discovery based on ontology is presented.Firstly,it constructed the web service description model based on domain ontology and described the web service by using owl-s to strengthen semantic information,and then the similarity degree of web services is calculated from two aspects: the similarity degree of basic information and the similarity degree of functional semantics,at last the request service matched the target service by using the similarity degree.Relative algorithms and the web service discovery prototype system with three layers architecture are pre-sented.The experimental results show that the presented approach improved recall ratio and accurate ratio of web service discovery.
