Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of two-site phacotrabeculectomy with adjustable suture in cataract and glaucoma patients.Methods:Eighty-four patients(92 eyes)with cataract and glaucoma were included in this retrospective study.In two-site group,38 patients(42 eyes)accepted two sites phacotrabeculectomy with adjustable suture and MMC.In one-site group,46 patients(50 eyes)accepted one site phacotrabeculectomy with MMC.The change of vision,IOP,the success rate,the type of filtering bleb at 6 month after surgery and the complication after surgery between the two groups were analyzed.Results:There was significant difference between the two groups in the change of IOP.There was significant difference between the two groups in complication at 3 d and 1 W、1 m and 6 m post-operatively,but not at 1 d post-operatively.Conclusion:The IOP could be controlled effectively by two sites phacotrabeculectomy with adjustable suture introduced in our study.
