Abstract:The M-health which takes advantage of mobile communication technology, changed the traditional way of life in the past that people only could go to the hospital for treatment. Now whatever inside or outside the hospital, you can obtain the relevant medical services and health information. The aging situation in China is becoming more and more serious and it's significant to apply the M-health technology to the elderly health management field. This paper will use the HTML, JavaScript and Web Service technology to design a set of health management system for the elderly based on mobile terminal. The system will monitor their real-time physical condition, intelligently analyze these physiological data and implement appropriate intervention or reminder. These measures contribute to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, improve the quality of life of the elder and realize the wisdom of pension.

Abstract:Interoperability among healthcare information systems is one of the most challenging problems in healthcare domain. In this paper, we propose a structure of Interoperable Medical Information System based on SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) and Web 2.0 under the framework of Regional Health Information Network. Various components are described in detail, including authentication, data access, and services management and so on. Services for medical information getting are registered and published by the system; users then access the system to search and fetch demanded services and value-added applications. All of the heterogeneous and distributed data and applications are converted to independent services according to international standards. As a result of the use of SOA, the system is levels clearly demarcated with good universality and maintainability.

Abstract:PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is successfully applied in Huzhou Central Hospital, and is well integrated with its HIS system by WEBSERVICE middleware. The system supports DICOM 3.0 Standard, and DICOM gateways are installed for modalities that do not support DICOM so as to have implemented the digitalization of all the image departments in the hospital.

Abstract:The advent of Internet technology introduces a revolution to software application and development paradigms. Traditional software development and application patterns have been shifted to Internet-based service sharing and collaboration among partners all over the Internet. This imposes new challenges and complexity in the lifecycle of software development, deployment and maintenance. Middleware, an intermediate layer to abstract the homogeneity and hide the difference of underlying systems, can be used to reduce the complexity for Internet application development. In this paper, we exploit the needs of middleware support for Internet-based applications from a service perspective. We investigate the potential requirements and features of Internetware, and the state-of-the-art solutions. We also analyze the remaining issues, the challenges and potential future research directions.

Abstract:Based on the application technology background of the digital setup-box and the requests of the interactive applications,this paper introduces the MHP specification which is related with the middleware technology of the digital TV and presents a scheme for an open implementation of the fundamental software elements of MHP.With view to GNU/open source,the paper puts emphasis on some key technologies related with the openness of the implementation.It also makes an analysis of the middleware technology of the digital TV,the development trend of MHP and the status quo of the digital TV in China.

Abstract:In the large-scale application of mobile Internet today, in order to meet the requirements of cross-platform application, its development is growing louder and louder. Therefore, the application of the latest Internet technology standard HTML5 in the development of mobile Internet was put forward in this paper. The technical characteristics of HTML5 and its applications in mobile Internet were described in detail. Then MVC model was regarded as the guiding ideology, and through the HTML5 technical standards, the framework of mobile application for the development of mobile applications was designed. The framework of the core library pine was designed, and the framework was realized. The framework was tested on different hardware and operating systems, and the results showed that the framework could be used in various operating platforms and operating systems.

Abstract:Service applications in mobile environment with large potential users become more and more popular. However, there are some limitations and obstacles for service delivery in mobile environment because of the particularity of mobile network and limiting ability of mobile terminals. In order to improve the efficiency and performance of service delivery, this paper introduces a middleware-based approach for mobile service delivery. In this way, the workload of mobile terminal devices can be reduced and the heterogeneities of terminal platforms and network communication protocols can be shielded off. Platform-independent, favorable extensibility, strong flexibility and well-behaved security are the typical advantages of the mobile delivery approach. Moreover, it can provide user-centric services through building user profile, without worrying about the mobile network discontinuity and limited processing abilities of mobile terminal devices.

Abstract:This paper presented a general purpose of the WWW based multimedia distance teaching system. A distance teaching system of mechanism and machinery was developed. An easily expanded and integrated system model was presented with a small library of integration tools. A dual server architecture was devised to take advantage of various development tools and to optimize communication between clients and servers. This architecture reduces the amount of multimedia data transferred to the clients. Other innovative steps also reduce the network traffic. The system will accelerate the development of other teaching systems and will improve future teaching practice.

Abstract:Middleware has become the popular runtime infrastructure of modern IT systems. Due to the complex application contexts and various user requirements, more and more applications are now making use of different middleware platforms. It might require the cooperation of several types of middleware, and result in challenging issues for collaborative management of heterogeneous middleware. To solve this problem, it may be a feasible solution to make management interfaces delivered in the form of services and used in service-oriented styles. In this paper, we propose an approach to encapsulating middleware management interfaces into Web services. First of all, we introduce middleware management problems induced by the development of requirements. Then, we present the technical challenges and illustrate the details about how to enable different management interfaces to be in service-oriented styles. Followed by identified technical challenges, we evaluate the approach and primarily discuss how to manage middleware systems collaboratively based on management services.

Abstract:Along with the proliferation of web-delivered services and the wide adoption of popular Web technologies, it has been an emerging development style that composes service-oriented applications with rich user experiences in the web browser. Currently, these service-oriented rich client (SoRC) applications are usually tightly coupled with specific requirements and scenarios, without the solutions of common problems for development, deployment and operation. It leads to the fact that SoRC applications are exactly done in an ad-hoc manner. In this paper, we propose a new type of middleware, which is embedded in web browsers and encapsulates reusable solutions for common problems. This browser-embedded middleware consists of a container managing component instances, a set of communication mechanisms coordinating both browser-server and inter-browser interactions. Different SoRC applications can be constructed more easily based on the middleware. In the case study, we construct a mashup environment, called iMashup, with the middleware and compare it with some popular environments. The comparison shows that iMashup provides composition capabilities with less implementation efforts, occupies much lower memory consumption and achieves more scalability.
