Abstract:Digital hospital is an important goal of the hospital construction,which is significant for promoting medical development and improving healthcare quality.The intension of digital hospital is discussed in details and its definition is put forward based on the characteristics analysis of typical digital hospitals at abroad.Then the construction goals of digital hospital are brought forward from the aspects of hospital intelligentization and hospital normalization,which are about building structure,service for hospital demands,centralized management of data,clinical data repository and electronic medical records.The development trend of digital hospital is forecasted from six aspects,combined with the progresses of medical science and IT.

Abstract:In order to understand the status quo of health resource allocation, problems in discipline development and attitude towards resources horizontal integration, this study has conducted questionnaire survey in 24 tertiary hospitals with 367 heads of department. Results revealed that there was coexistence of deficiency and excess in discipline resource allocation in public hospitals. The significant challenges for discipline development were poor talent team construction and lack of influencing experts. It is suggested that the head of hospital and administrative department should attach great importance to discipline development and give special support in the aspect of human resource system and financial investment.

Abstract:In the development of universities, disciplines carry many functions, such as personnel training, scientific research and social services. All kinds of organizations and activities of universities are centered on disciplines and developed around the development of disciplines. As an industrial university, the discipline characteristics are accumulated in the long-term history of running a school, and also created in the service of economic and social development, which is different from other universities. Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of discipline development in industrial universities, this paper holds that industrial universities should persist in optimizing discipline layout, concise discipline direction, take the road of characteristic development and win by comparison, which is also the only way to build a "double-first-class" world-class university.

Abstract:Discipline evaluation is an important measure to promote the virtuous circle of discipline construction, and is an indispensable link in the process of discipline development in public hospitals. After becoming a directly affiliated hospital of a " double first-class" university, in order to improve the comprehensive strength and influence, a hospital built and applied a disciplinary evaluation system in four directions: talent construction, clinical medicine, scientific research ability, and teaching work. According to the evaluation results, the hospital′s disciplines were divided into three categories, namely, advantageous disciplines, cultivating disciplines and potential disciplines, and development strategies were established at different levels, providing policy support and financial support, especially in the field of scientific research and teaching, to accelerate to make up for shortcomings. Through exploration and practice, the talent team, scientific research and teaching level, discipline reputation, and comprehensive strength of the hospital had been significantly improved, providing effective support for the high-quality development of the hospital.

Abstract:The performance appraisal of tertiary public hospitals is key to their high-quality development. Since 2019, Children′s Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine has taken the following measures to leverage performance appraisal. Namely promoting medical technology innovation to enhance the diagnosis and treatment capabilities of difficult and critical diseases; Reasonably setting a target system, improving the performance appraisal mechanism of the hospital; Improving operational efficiency, enhancing the sense of gain by children patients; Building a high-quality talent pool, promoting sustainable development, and effectively promoting high-quality development of hospitals. Abstract:Generally, in medical colleges and universities, discipline is assumed as one the challenging and predominant research domain both for staff and students. Therefore, in this paper, we have aimed to explore the discipline construction and development of medical colleges and universities in a complex environment. First, the contribution model of advantageous discipline construction to improve the core competitiveness of colleges and universities is implemented. Second, the staff involved in discipline construction in medical colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province are investigated. Finally, the structural equation model (SEM) is used to test the hypotheses and verify the basic elements of the construction of the core competitiveness of colleges and universities. The results show that discipline construction in colleges and universities includes the construction of advantageous characteristics, the construction of the academic echelon, the construction of scientific research, the construction of resource conditions, and the construction of talent training. The five elements interact and jointly affect the construction of advantageous disciplines in colleges and universities. And they have different effects on the university’s core competitiveness. Among them, the advantage trait construction has an implicit effect on the improvement of efficient management ability, and the influence of resource condition construction is indirect. The study provides a reference for the development of higher education. The successful experience of using discipline construction to improve the core competitiveness from function orientation and degrees and some corresponding suggestions, which were made, are achieved.
