Degradation of Nitrobenzene in Wastewater by Ultrasound/Fenton Method

Abstract:Ultrasound /Fenton method was used to treat organic pollutant nitrobenzene in this experiment.Effects of initial pH of solution,Fenton reagent composition,Fenton reagent dosage and reaction temperature on nitrobenzene removal rate of comprehensive US/Fenton reagent method were investigated.The results show that when concentration of nitrobenzene in waste water is 100 mg/L,and Fenton reagent dosage is 5︰1,pH is 3,temperature is 25 ℃,nitrobenzene degradation rate is up to 96.5%.
