Design and Implementation of a Data Sharing System Prototype on Classification,Gradation and Valuation on Agricultural Land

Abstract:Classification, gradation and valuation on agricultural land can promote the land management from "quantitative management" to "quantitative and qualitative management". But it is difficult to share the achievement information which always includes huge data with various data type and by distributed storage. Also it is difficult to produce, maintain and use the data without common management on datasets from every region. A prototype of data sharing system of classification, gradation, valuation on agricultural land is presented. The system is designed and implemented to manage distributed data using metadata. The system is of distributed N-layer architecture on .NET platform and able to support Xml Web Service, as well as be easily used, maintained and upgraded.
