Correlation of structure of benzofuranones antioxidant with heat stability

Abstract:Oxidation onset temperature method had been used to study the heat stability of PP stabilized by benzofuranones.The results indicated that:the big size of substituting group at 5 and 7 position of matrix benzene ring can improve the heat stability;secondly,sterically hindered substituent at 2' position of 3-substituted phenyl can weaken the heat stability.
