Abstract:The title complex, [Ni(C4H4O4S)(C3H4N2)3](H2O)-H-., displays a distorted octahedral NiN3O2S coordination geometry, formed by three imidazole ( imid) ligands and one thiodiacetate dianion. The Ni-II atom is displaced from one of the imid planes, and the angle between the corresponding Ni-N bond and the imid plane is 21.94 (19)degrees. This spatial orientation is stabilized by an intermolecular C-H-...pi interaction between one imid ligand and the C-H bond of an adjacent imid ligand.

Abstract:In the title compound, [Mn(C4H5NO4)(C7H6N2)(3)].2H(2)O, the Mull atom is surrounded by one iminodiacetate dianion and three benzimidazole molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The tridentate iminodiacetate dianion chelates the Mull atom in the facial mode. Extensive intermolecular, N-H...O and O-H...O hydrogen bonding and C-H...pi(arene) interactions are present in the crystal structure.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:The title compound, C14H14BrNO4, contains a tricyclic ring system including three contiguous stereocenters all of which exhibit an R configuration. The cyclo-hexa-none ring adopts a chair conformation. The central oxane ring assumes a strained envelope conformation, with five of the ring atoms being nearly coplanar with the bromo-phenyl group and with the C atom adjacent to the O atom and fused with the cyclo-hexa-none ring as the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Abstract:The title compound, C26H21N3O3, is a chemically symmetrical molecule with one methyl group and three (4-cyanophenoxy)methyl groups bonded to a tetracoordinate C atom. It crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group P (1) over bar. In the crystal structure, there are many non-covalent interactions, including O ... N short contacts and antiparallel dipole-dipole interactions. The tetracoordinate C atom of the molecule exhibits central chirality, while the three attached groups exhibit different axial chirality. The enantiomers form homochiral monolayers through enantioselective self-assembly, and the monolayers are packed in the formation of a superlattice based on alternating the two enantiomeric states. The physical image of molecular chirality as well as the concept of a superlattice with respect to chirality may provide a new insight into such a racemic crystal, which is very common in crystallography.

Abstract:The title complex, [Cu(tren)(DMP)](ClO4)(2) . CH3CN (where tren is tris(2-aminoethyl)amine, DMP is 4-dimethylaminopyridine), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurement, thermal analysis, magnetic measurement and electronic, IR and ESR spectra studies. The X-ray crystal structure reveals that the copper(II) ion is in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry with the three primary amine groups of the tren ligand forming the equatorial plane and the tertiary amine and the 4-dimethylaminopyridine molecule on the apical positions.
