Abstract:A novel kind of algorithm, called the quantum evolutionary algorithms-QEA, is proposed by combining quantum theory with evolutionary theory. It is a kind of evolutionary algorithm with the form of quantum chromosome, the random observation which simulates the quantum collapse can bring diverse individuals, and the evolutionary operators characterized by quantum mechanism are introduced to speed up convergence and to avoid prematurity. The paper not only proves the global convergence of QEA. but also provides simulation experiments to prove its superiority over its counterpart.
