Abstract:ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the status of community diabetic patients' knowledge related to diabetic foot and analyze the influencing factors. Methods: With descriptive study design, 210 diabetic patients living in a community in Shanghai were enrolled in questionnaires investigation. Results: As a whole, awareness of the knowledge related to diabetic foot of the community diabetic patients was not satisfactory. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that duration of diabetes, educational level and per capita monthly income of the family were the main influencing factors of knowledge related to diabetic foot(P<0.05). Conclusion: We should improve the health education for diabetic patients in community, focus on the patients whose family economic conditions were poorer and conduct education according to the patients' duration of diabetes and educational level to improve the quality of health education.
