Identification of Independent Innovation

Abstract:Independent innovation has already become one of the most frequently used phrases in China.However,people always have different understandings on this phrase,which makes academic research and management practice inconvenient.Therefore,it is necessary to form clear identification of independent innovation.Firstly,this paper interprets the concept of independent innovation from three perspectives of economic development,national security and ethos.Then,it sets up the framework of independent innovation by the function of its definition.Based on these,it gives the definition of independent innovation as well as the extended definition divided by innovativeness.
