Abstract:Let H be a complex separable infinite-dimensional Hilbert space. Given the operators A is an element of B(H) and B is an element of B(H), we define MX := [A X 0 B] where X. S(H) is a self-adjoint operator. In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition is given for MX to be a left (right) invertible operator for some X. S(H). Moreover, it is shown that boolean AND(X is an element of S(H)) sigma*(M-X) = boolean AND(X is an element of B(H)) sigma*(M-X) boolean OR Delta, where sigma* is the left (right) spectrum. Finally, we further characterize the perturbation of the left (right) spectrum for Hamiltonian operators.

According to the orthogonal decomposition [email protected]?M^@?, every operator [email protected]?B(H) can be written in a block-form M=ABCD. In this note, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for a partitioned operator matrix M to have the Drazin inverse with Banachiewicz-Schur form. Abstract:When A∈B(H) and B∈B(K) are given, we denote by MC the operator acting on the infinite-dimensional separable Hilbert space H⊕K of the form MC=(AC0B). In this paper, it is shown that there exists some operator C∈B(K,H) such that MC is upper semi-Fredholm and ind(MC)⩽0 if and only if there exists some left invertible operator C∈B(K,H) such that MC is upper semi-Fredholm and ind(MC)⩽0. Abstract:The infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operator comes from the infinite dimensional Hamiltonian system,which has deep mechanic background and applied foreground.In this note,the sufficient and necessary condition of bounded invertibility for a class of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators is obtained by using space decomposition and block operator matrices.Moreover,the result is compared with the documentary results.At last,the validity of this result is shown by several test examples.
