Deliberative Democracy Studies in China:Reality Landscape and Theory Developing

Abstract:Although the theory of deliberative democracy fit China's democratic politics and the develop- ment,but its semantic meaning,background,theoretical nature,the prerequisite for the realization show that our deliberative democracy and Western democracy is not fully coupled consultations.Thus,it can be further clarified,China's deliberative democracy,consultative politics,political consultation and the CP- PCC democracy is not one thing.The simplistic tendency to only block the development of democracy in China.As a different perspective to understand democracy,deliberative democracy provided a different perspective.Electoral democracy and deliberative democracy is far from oppose each other,but have their own advantages and disadvantages.Deliberative democracy oess not alternate electoral democracy,or fully compensate for the shortcomings of electoral democracy.It is not rational to admit that traditional cultural resources that must be conducive to the development,of China's deliberative democracy.Because the im- pact of traditional cultural resources on the development of democracy is difficult to determine,even if the application of traditional cultures can affect,the impact is not necessarily positive.From the perspective and methodology sense,China's current deliberative democracy study deliberately prefers to"State"while ignoring the"society",focusing on translations,which are not conducive to progress in the deliberative de- mocracy study.Therefore,we must develop our own perspective on deliberative democracy in China,show concern to"state"and"social",and build our own theoretical system.At the same time,the research of the methods,also not neglected either.
