Abstract:To realize the design reuse of product process models and association knowledge,which are increased considerably in complexity and quantity,a design reuse method of product variation design process was put forward.Firstly,the information model of product variation design with normalized data interface was built via refining and abstracting the modules of design system,and the weighted and ordered retrieval tree of state space was used to store design process.Secondly,the variation design semantics was added to the transplantable structures,and the inheritance and transition of variation design semantics in variation design behaviors were realized through discard,reserve,copy,or other operations on variation design semantics during variation design behaviors of splitting,merging and transformation.Thirdly,design processes were associated by obtaining the structures to vary continuously via semantics retrieval.Finally,the operation sequence from the initial state to the terminal state was acquired via depth first search.The variation design process was backtracked and reused by executing feasible solution sets.The independent prototype system has been developed to verify the proposed method in designing the compressor blade of turbofan engine.The results indicate that the objects of traditional design reuse are extended from the static isolated design results to the dynamic continuous design process through the method.It is of profound significance for realizing product structure variation design with more favorable precision and efficiency.
