Abstract:Graduation design is the key to training students comprehensive quality and innovation ability.It is important that research be conducted on its guidance to improve the quality of graduation design.Group guidance changes the traditional guidance,which is considered as a one to one quidance between the instructor and the student.The students doing graduation design were organized as groups.With the effective use of mutual learning,seminars,incentives and cross-check,the knowledge and skills were disseminated and shared.Consequently instructions on graduation design were completed with group activities.The core principles of group guidance are equal communication,autonomy stimulation,open mind and interpersonal interaction.The specific content includes the form of group,the environment and the activities.Based on a complete process of graduation design in which group guidance was applied,the statistical data of two groups,an experiment group using group guidance,and a control group not using group guidance of samples was collected through the questionnaire and analyzed.The empirical study has shown that group guidance can raise the quality and efficiency of graduation design and enhance the self-satisfaction of the students.Group guidance is an innovation in graduation design.It is worthy of being widely applied.
