Abstract:“Beautiful China”is Chinese people’s self-conscious cultural cognition and life ideal. To build“Beautiful China” is the political, economic, legal and cultural goal of the country. It must be seen that building of beautiful China is not only an environmental issue but also an issue of legal practice of civil society and a citizen’s liberal education. Aesthetic creation of life, art and thought marks the direction of the building of beautiful China. It is noteworthy that based on the willingness of building a beautiful country, literary aesthetics should provide necessary theoretical support for world peace and common development goals.

Abstract:As a source of aesthetic education in the new era, the Chinese language subject is profoundly related to art education, personality cultivation and emotional cultivation, and is of great significance to the realisation of the goal of cultivating morality. This study is a qualitative research that will analyse the problems of aesthetic education existing in Chinese language teaching in the new era from the connotation of aesthetic education in the new era. A representative poem, a travelogue and a biography are used as case studies. Based on the disciplinary characteristics of Chinese teaching, we will try to explore the implementation path to solve the problems of aesthetic education through cross-disciplinary learning. In this study, instructors attempted to break through the boundaries between the Chinese language curriculum teaching and the arts curriculum teaching, to enhance the synthesis of subject knowledge, and to guide learners to enjoy the beauty of the pictures described in the text. Ultimately, this study is expected to provide valuable insights and potential solutions for integrating aesthetic education in the Chinese language curriculum in the new era, providing guidance for educators and policy makers.

Abstract:The concept of life aesthetics reflects an individual’s cry for life and pursuit of beauty, inspiring individuals to discover their spiritual home, sense their poetic habitat, and enjoy the beauty of life flowing from their fingertips. Chinese education, viewed through the lens of life aesthetics, is founded on the natural characteristics of life, stimulating the aesthetic sense of individual life through the allure of language, and teaching students to view life through the aesthetic lens as well as from an understanding of life’s essence. Teachers and students are required to take an aesthetic view of life as theoretical guidance, based on core Chinese literacy, with textbook contents serving as carriers and classroom instruction as the position, closely connected to students’ actual lives, in order to help stimulate aesthetic experience among students, improve their aesthetic ability through aesthetic activities, and thus establish a correct view of life.

Abstract:In literature appreciation, aesthetic distance is a psychological state of the audience, which changes constantly with their cognitive laws and understanding of literary works. This paper mainly studies the aesthetic distance in the creation and appreciation of ancient Chinese literature. Based on the theories of aesthetic psychology and aesthetics, the author introduced the Edward Bullough’s theory of psychical distance and its inheritance and development by Zhu Guangqian, one of the founders of the study of aesthetics in 20thcentury China. The author also explored the influence of time distance and space distance on aesthetic distance. Then, several literary works of ancient China were cited to analyse how aesthetic distance is utilized to enhance the aesthetic value. The research results provide a direction for creating contemporary literary works from the perspective of aesthetic distance.
