Cloning and Bioinformatics Analysis of A1 Gene from Mycoplasma Suis in Yanbian,Jilin Province

Abstract:A1 gene was cloned from Mycoplasma suis isolated from Yanbian,Jilin Province.Based on the sequence,the homology,phylogenetic tree,encoded protein isoelectric point,signal peptide,transmembrane domains,glycosylation sites and hydrophobic regions were analyzed and predicted with bio-software.The results indicated that the A1 gene consisted of 1 044 nucleotides encoding a protein of 333 amino acids.The A1 gene shared 97.0% homology with corresponding sequences in GenBank(AM265536) and had the highest homology with Mycoplasma haemocanis and Mycoplasma haemofelis(68.4%) based on the phylogenetic tree.The isoelectric point of A1 protein was 4.69.A1 protein had transmembrane domains.This study showed that A1 gene possessed potential antigenicity and conformed that the molecular classification of M.suis is correct.
