Abstract:Based on a statistical model,this paper investigates high-tech industry competitiveness of coastal 12 provinces and metropolis in China by principle factor analysis and classification,and comes to a conclusion: industry scale and relevant institution environment have great effects on industry competitiveness.For High-tech industry development,its central area consists of three districts such as Chu Chiang Delta,Yangtze Delta,Peking,and every central area affects adjacent peripheral districts.Peking has top institution environment,while Guangdong province has the greatest industry scale.
