Abstract:Objective: To study foreskin epithelium culture in vitro as a basic role in the furtherresearch of tissue engineering urethra. Methods: A bit of foreskin was taken from a young malerabbit and digest with enzyme and transfer to single cell liquid. The cell was cultured, expanded andstudy with histologically, immunocytochemically(anti-AE1/AE3) and MTT. Result: All cultural cellswere epithelium cells without fibroblasts. The cells sub-cultured 3 generations. Conclusions: Theforeskin epithelium cells of rabbit can be cultured in vitro and attain magnitude quantity.
