Abstract:Diabetes mellitus is defined as a metabolic disorder disease,which couldn’t be cured completely at present.The only way we can control this disease is having a severely restricted diet,supplemented with medical treatment.Because the drugs for diabetes have side effect to some extent,many researchers have studied on the effect of functional factors in the natural products to prevent or treat diabetes.This article summarized some researches on natural products used in food to prevent or treat of diabetes in recent years.
