Abstract:Embryonic tips of soybean genotypes including Heinong 37,Jiyu 91 and Huaidou 4 were used as the explants to study effects of glufosinate on formation of adventitious buds from the different genotypes of soybean's embryonic tips.The results showed that different tolerance to glufosinate existed among the three genotypes involved,in which the highest tolerance was observed in Jiyu 91.The formation of adventitious buds from the soybean embryonic tips was inhibited by glufosinate at the concentration of 0.6mg/L to 1.2mg/L.The results provided the fundamental data to genetic transformation of embryonic tips in soybean using Bar as selection marker.

Effects of Glufosinate on Formation of Adventitious Buds from Embryonic Tip of Soybean
