Abstract:Crops were pot cultured with application of different levels of nitrogen and potassium on secondarily salinized greenhouse soil to determine crop yield, soil available nutrients and salt. The result indicated that the there was no obvious difference in plant dry matter weight of crops between treatments with various levels of N in 1 season after experiment, suggesting that soil N content was very high and that N was not necessary to apply to the soil. The crops yielded significantly higher in the soil of open field than in the greenhouse soil;the available N,P and K,salt ions content and electrical conductivity(EC) were significantly higher in the green house than in the open field soils, which indicated that the higher content of the carrying ions in the greenhouse was the important factor limiting the soil nutrient utilization efficiency and crop yield. The treatment K2 with the potassium content at 350 mg/kg yielded significantly higher than the K1(300 mg/kg),which indicated that potassium could increase the crop yield. The treatment K2 had significantly lower soil available potassium than the treatment K1,whereas the K2 tended to showed lower soil available P and N than the treatment K1 although there was no obvious difference. The water soluble K+ in the K2 was significantly lower than that in the K1,and there was no evident difference among the other water soluble ions. The EC in the K2 tended to decrease, which indicated that the application of potash in the greenhouse soil helped plants to make full use of soil nutrients, and was an effective way to alleviate secondary salinization of the greenhouse soil.
