Abstract:Objective: To assess the effects of family factors on adolescent premarital sexual behavior and risky sexual behavior.Methods: 6,023 unmarried adolescents from 15 to 24 years old in Shanghai were collected using multi-stage sampling method,and anonymous electronic questionnaire survey was conducted.Results: 12.7% of the respondents admitted sexual intercourse(male: 16.8%,female: 8.7%).Among them,the proportions of first sexual behavior with less than 18 years old,no protection during the first sexual behavior,commercial sexual behavior,as well as sexual experience with stranger and drugger were 29.9%,55.2%,4.3%,12.2% and 0.5%,respectively.Multivariate analysis showed that the possibility of adolescent premarital sexual behavior and the scores of risky sexual behavior were relatively lower with the following circumstances,such as the earlier era of birth,living with parents,family support in early puberty,and the deprecatory attitudes of parents.And gender differences existed in the influences of family factors on sexual behavior.The occurrences of first sexual behavior of girls were more likely to be affected by family factors,while boys' were more affected by demographic features.Conclusion: The occurrence age of adolescent premarital sexual behavior tend to be youthful.Family factors may influence the occurrences of adolescent premarital sexual behavior and risky sexual behavior,which exists gender differences.
