Analysis of Correlation Between the Use of Antiinfective Drugs and Bacterial Drug Resistance in Our Hospital

Abstract:Objective:To investigate correlation of bacterial drug resistance and the use of antiinfective drugs in our hospital. Method:Retrospective review was used,consumption amount,change tendency of employment frequency and susceptibility test of bacterium segregated from clinical examples were evaluated as indices.Application of anti-infective drug and bacterial drug resistance from 2005 to 2007 in our hospital were classified statistics and analyzed synthesis.Result:Consumption amount of anti-infective drug showed growths tendency year by year.Application percentage of anti-infective drug were 53.0%,59.0%and 71.4%in inpatients during 3 years,respectively.The percent of consumption amount of other drugs such asβ-lactam,cephalosporins,lactam suppressor and antifungal agent was above 60%and tendency of employment was leaped into the front ranks.Ascendant microbial population segregated from clinical examples were fairly changed and general largely order was displaced.Ascendant microbial population ahead 9 were obviously increased year by year.Conclusion:There was invariably correlation between bacterial drug resistance and redundance of anti-infective drug.
