Studies on the Comparisons of Soil Urease Activity Between Ginseng and American Ginseng

Abstract:The article studied the comparisons of soil urease activity between direct seeding Ginseng and American Ginseng which grown in the same condition using the indophenol colorimetry.The result showed that root area's soil urease activity of Ginseng and American Ginseng had an obvious disciplinarian that the earlier years' increased and the latter years' descreased from one-year-old to four-year-old.But the maximal urease content of Ginseng was in two-year-old and the maximal urease content of American Ginseng was in three-year-old.Urease activity of Ginseng and American Ginseng in four-year-old increased gradually as soil became deep.There was also an obvious comparison between the same year Ginseng and American Ginseng.Ginseng's urease content was higher than that of American ginseng in one-and two-year-old.But it was lower in three-and four-year-old.The one-year-old 's content dispersion was 0.1317mg /g,the second year's was 0.0668mg /g,the three years old 's was 0.0881 mg /g and the four-year-old 's was 0.0379 mg /g.
