Abstract:Objective To explore the value of multi-plane reconstruction and surface shadow display of whirl computed tomography in elongated styloid process syndrome.Methods According to the standard of literature,the exhibition of multi-plane reconstruction and surface shadow display of whirl computed tomography of elongated styloid process syndrome in 28 cases were analyzed.Results All tyloids could be displaied clearly and perfectly,The concrete manifestation included excessively long,increasing thick and curve.Conclusion Compared to the conventional X-ray,the images of multi-plane reconstruction and surface shadow display of whirl computed tomography can demonstrated the length and the shape of styloid more direct-viewing,it play the important assistance role in diagnosis of elongated styloid process syndrome,and be good for promoted clinically application.
