Sequence Analyses of MRP Gene and EF Gene of 4 Isolates of Streptoco-ccus suis Type 2

Abstract:Streptococcus suis type 2(SS2) is an important zoonosis agent,of which muramidase-released protein and extracellular protein factor are two important virulent factors.5 pairs of specific primers were designed and synthesized according to the sequences of MRP gene and EF gene from GenBank.4 isolates of SS2 were sequenced and analysed.All whole open reading fragment of MRP gene among 4 isolates of SS2 were 3 771 bp encoding 1 256 amino acids.All whole open reading fragment of EF gene among 4 isolates of SS2 were 2 532 bp encoding 843 amino acids.MRP showed a similary of 99.9% to those of D282 in both DNA sequence and amino acid sequence.EF exhibited the similaries of 99.9% and 99.5%-100.0% to those of D282 in DNA sequence and amino acid sequence,respectively.
