Analysis of the Labor Supply of the Old Workers Using Logistic Model

Abstract:Using spot check data of Qingdao and logistic model,this paper analyses the labor supply behaviors of old workers.There are two conclusions in the paper:first,because of the low pension coverage rate,the empirical conclusion is inconsistent with the theory hypothesis that pension and labor supply has a negative correlation.Second,through the empirical analysis,pension,age,sex,technic certificate and education have strong effects on the labor supply of the older workers.
