Clinical analysis of twelve cases with Shy-Drager syndrome

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical manifestation and early diagnosis of Shy-Drager syndrome(SDS).Methods Clinical data of twelve SDS cases were retrospectively analyzed.Results Twelve cases of SDS mainly manifested urine obstacles,orthostatic hypotension,sexual dysfunction and ataxia.Cranial MRI of eight cases showed brain atrophy,especially in cerebellum and brainstem.Conclusion SDS has main manifestation of autonomic dysfunction,and often is combined with cerebella symptoms.MRI can demonstrate to be cerebellum,brainstem atrophy.
