Abstract:Feature-oriented analysis and modeling is widely accepted in software reuse, which consists of two major phases that should be taken seriously. The first is to construct a feature model, and the second is to configure products based on the feature model attained in the first. This paper presents a matrix-based approach to constructing and configuring feature models, whose main advantage is its scalability compared to traditional graphic-based feature models, and the supporting tool is presented to demonstrate its feasibility.
