Abstract:By using the saddle point theorem, some new existence theorems are obtained for second-order Hamiltonian systems with impulsive effects in the cases when the gradient of the nonlinearity grows sublinearly and grows linearly respectively. Our results generalize some existing results and our conditions on the potential are rather relaxed.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the existence of mild solutions as well as optimal controls for non-autonomous impulsive evolution equations with nonlocal conditions. Using the Schauder's fixed-point theorem as well as the theory of evolution family, we prove the existence of mild solutions for the concerned problem. Furthermore, without the Lipschitz continuity of the nonlinear term, the optimal control result is derived by setting up minimizing sequences twice. An example is given of the application of the results.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the well-posedness and dynamics of delay impulsive fractional stochastic evolution equations with time fractional differential operator α ∈ (0, 1). After establishing the well-posedness of the problem, and a result ensuring the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions globally defined in future, the existence of a minimal global attracting set is investigated in the mean-square topology, under general assumptions not ensuing the uniqueness of solutions. Furthermore, in the case of uniqueness, it is possible to provide more information about the geometrical structure of such global attracting set. In particular, it is proved that the minimal compact globally attracting set for the solutions of the problem becomes a singleton. It is remarkable that the attraction property is proved in the usual forward sense, unlike the pullback concept used in the context of random dynamical systems, but the main point is that the model under study has not been proved to generate a random dynamical system.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of nonlocal impulsive differential equation with conformable fractional derivative is studied. By utilizing the theory of operators semigroup and fractional derivative, a new concept on a solution for our problem is introduced. We used some fixed point theorems such as Banach contraction mapping principle, Schauder’s fixed point theorem, Schaefer’s fixed point theorem, and Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem, and we derive many existence and uniqueness results concerning the solution for impulsive nonlocal Cauchy problems. Abstract:This paper explored the existence and uniqueness of a neutral fractional impulsive dynamic equation over time scales that included nonlocal initial conditions and employed the Caputo-nabla derivative (C$ \nabla $D). The establishment of existence and uniqueness relies on the fine fixed point theorem. Furthermore, a comparison was conducted between the fractional order C$ \nabla $D and the Riemann-Liouville nabla derivative (RL$ \nabla $D) over time scales. Theoretical findings were substantiated through a numerical methodology, and an illustrative graph using MATLAB was presented for the provided example.

Abstract:Existence and stability of solutions are important parts in the qualitative study of delay differential equations. The stabilizing by imposing proper impulse controls are used in many areas of natural sciences and engineering. This article provides sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stabilization of solutions to delay impulsive differential equations of second-order with multiple delays. The main tools in this article are the Schaefer fixed point theorem, fixed impulse effects, and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. The outcomes extend earlier results in the literature. Abstract:A class for systems of nonlinear second-order differential equations with periodic impulse action are considered. An urgent problem for this class of differential equations is the problem of the quantitative study (existence) in the case when the phase space of the equation is, in the general case, some Banach space. In this work, sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for a system with parameters are obtained. The results are obtained by using fixed point theorems for operators on a cone. Our approach is based on Schaefer’s fixed point theorem more precisely. In addition, the existence of positive solutions is also investigated.

Abstract:This paper deals with two classes of impulsive equations involving the general conformable fractional derivative in Banach spaces: (1) impulsive Sobolev-type integro-differential equations with the general conformable fractional derivative, (2) impulsive delay evolution equations with the general conformable fractional derivative. By combining the generalized Laplace transform and the properties of the general conformable fractional derivative, we present a proper definition of mild solutions for the impulsive integro-differential equations with the general conformable fractional derivative. In view of this definition, we obtain a new existence theorem of (ω ,c) -periodic solutions for a normal fractional inhomogeneous evolution equation with the general conformable fractional derivative (Theorem 2.3 ) which will be used to study the (ω ,c) -periodic solutions for the impulsive delay evolution equations with the general conformable fractional derivative. Then we establish existence and uniqueness theorems for the impulsive integro-differential equations with the general conformable fractional derivative. Next, we derive existence theorems of (ω ,c) -periodic solutions for the impulsive delay evolution equations involving the general conformable fractional derivative. Finally, applications are also given to illustrate our abstract results.

Abstract:In this paper, existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions of second‐order semilinear impulsive differential equations are obtained. Some sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of periodic solutions to second‐order linear nonhomogeneous impulsive differential equations are obtained. In addition, by using the appropriate fixed theorem and the theory of coincidence degree, some conditions ensuring the existence and uniqueness of periodic solution to second‐order semilinear impulsive differential systems are derived. Finally, some examples are provided to illustrate the availability of our results.

Abstract:Analysis and Applications, Ahead of Print. In this paper, we consider the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for stochastic nonlocal evolution equations with Lévy diffusion operator and nonlocal initial conditions. Based on the continuity of the Lévy semigroup and the technique of the measure of noncompactness, we establish the local existence of mild solutions in [math] under some weaker growth conditions. Moreover, we obtain the existence of mild solutions on any finite interval by using the general growth conditions on the nonlinear. Finally, the global existence and uniqueness of mild solutions follow from the additional Lipschitz conditions on nonlinear terms.

Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems

Abstract:The asymptotic integration problem has a rich historical background and has been extensively studied in the context of ordinary differential equations, delay differential equations, dynamic equations, and impulsive differential equations. However, the problem has not been explored for impulsive dynamic equations due to the lack of essential tools such as principal and nonprincipal solutions, as well as certain compactness results. In this work, by making use of the principal and nonprincipal solutions of the associated linear dynamic equation, recently obtained in [Acta Appl. Math. 188, 2 (2023)], we investigate the asymptotic integration problem for a specific class of nonlinear impulsive dynamic equations. Under certain conditions, we prove that the given impulsive dynamic equation possesses solutions with a prescribed asymptotic behavior at infinity. These solutions can be expressed in terms of principal and nonprincipal solutions as in differential equations. In addition, the necessary compactness results are also established. Our findings are particularly valuable for better understanding the long-time behavior of solutions, modeling real-world problems, and analyzing the solutions of boundary value problems on semi-infinite intervals.

Abstract:In this paper we use topological degree to study the solvability for a first-order impulsive integral boundary value problem on time scales. We first construct a linear operator, and then obtain the existence of nontrivial solutions under some conditions concerning the spectral radius of this linear operator.
