Abstract:By showing the existence of the fixed point of the condensing operators in the phase space C mu, for the Cauchy problem for impulsive evolution equations with infinite delay in a Banach space X:x'(t) + u(t)x(t) = f(t,x(t),xt), t > 0, t not equal ti,x(s) = phi(s), s <= 0,Delta x(t(i)) = T-i(x(ti)), i = 1,2, . . . , 0 < t1 < t2 < . . .< infinity,where u(t) is pi periodic, the operator u(t) is unbounded for each t > 0, x(t)(s) = x(t + s), s <= 0, Delta x(t(i)) = x(t(i)(+)) - x(t(i)(-)), f, phi and T-i (i = 1, . . . , n) are given functions, we derive periodic solutions from bounded solutions. The new periodic solution existence results obtained here extend earlier results in this area for evolution equations without impulsive conditions or without infinite delay.
