Abstract:This paper further studies the fuzzy rough sets based on fuzzy coverings. We first present the notions of the lower and upper approximation operators based on fuzzy coverings and derive their basic properties. To facilitate the computation of fuzzy coverings for fuzzy covering rough sets, the concepts of fuzzy subcoverings, the reducible and intersectional elements, the union and intersection operations are provided and their properties are discussed in detail. Afterwards, we introduce the concepts of consistent functions and fuzzy covering mappings and provide a basic theoretical foundation for the communication between fuzzy covering information systems. In addition, the notion of homomorphisms is proposed to reveal the relationship between fuzzy covering information systems. We show how large-scale fuzzy covering information systems and dynamic fuzzy covering information systems can be converted into small-scale ones by means of homomorphisms. Finally, an illustrative example is employed to show that the attribute reduction can be simplified significantly by our proposed approach.

Abstract:A family of algorithms for solving convex feasibility problems on Hadamard manifolds is studied. Some convergence results and linear convergence results are established, which extend the corresponding ones from Hilbert spaces to Hadamrd manifolds. At last, a numerical example on the Poincare plane is provided to illustrate the theoretical results.

Abstract:Since the complementarity problem is proposed, people have done series of research, propose a lot of efficient algorithms, more used methods are projection method, interior-point method, smooth (nonsmooth) Newton method, etc. In this paper, complementarity problem is convert into unconstrained optimization by using Fischer-Burmeister function, then unconstrained optimization is solved by modified generalized quasi-Newton algorithm. the improved algorithm has good numerical results verified by numerical experiments.

Abstract:In the recent paper “common fixed point theorems for commutating mappings in fuzzy metric spaces,” the authors proved that a common fixed point theorem for commutating mappings inG-complete fuzzy metric spaces and gave an example to illustrate the main result. In this note, we point out that the above example is incorrect because it does not satisfy the condition ofG-completeness, and then two appropriate examples are given. In addition, we prove that the theorem proposed by Zheng and Lian actually holds in anM-complete fuzzy metric space. Our results improve and extend some existing results in the relevant literature.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce and study a new system of generalized nonlinear mixed quasi-variational inclusions in q-uniformly smooth Banach spaces. We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions for this system of generalized nonlinear mixed quasi-variational inclusions. We also prove the convergence of several new two-step iterative algorithms with or without errors for this system of generalized nonlinear mixed quasi-variational inclusions. The results in this paper extend and improve some known results in the literature.

Abstract:This paper presents a class of generalized global dynamical system involving (H,η) set-valued monotone mappings and a set-valued function induced by a closed fuzzy mapping in Hilbert spaces. By using the resolvent operator technique and Nadler fixed-point theorem, we prove the equilibrium point set is not empty and closed. Furthermore, we develop a new iterative scheme which generates a Cauchy sequence strongly converging to an equilibrium point.

Abstract:In this paper, a smoothing homotopy method for solving the nonlinear complementarity problem is considered. The homotopy equation is constructed based on Chen-Harker-Kanzow-Smale smooth function. Under certain mild non-monotone condition, the global convergence result is obtained. Furthermore, the initial point can be chosen almost everywhere in R-n but not just in R-+(n). The numerical experimental results show that the method is effective.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to present new existence results for solutions to a generalized quasi-equilibrium problem with set-valued mappings and moving cones. The key to this approach is a new Browder-type fixed point theorem, which permits working in a new direction with the milder condition of transfer open-valued mapping and considering weaker assumptions on the coving cone. These results are applied to some generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems with trifunctions and to a vector quasi-equilibrium problem with fuzzy mappings in a fuzzy environment.

Abstract:In this study, commercing from the structural characteristics of fuzzy information, we propose the concept of level effect function, which can be used to describe fuzziness consciousness and to establish an I"L-metric method to measure all aspects of fuzzy information; further, we present an uncertainty metric model of concentrated quantification value; then, we establish two kinds of solution models based on the synthesizing effect of fuzzy assignment problems, by combining the genetic algorithm and assignment problems, and describe a concrete implementation strategy and algorithm to fuzzy assignment problem (denoted by GA@?SE-FAM, for short); finally, we consider the algorithm's convergence using Markov chain theory, and analyze its performance through simulation of practical examples. All of these indicate that this algorithm possesses the advantages of higher feasibility and easier operationalization, as such, it can be widely used in many fuzzy assignment problems.

Abstract:Fuzzy programming approach has wide application in many fields such as project management, multi-attribute decision making, and comprehensive evaluation. Its solving methods have attracted many attentions. In this paper we present a new approach, based on the genetic algorithm, for dealing with a programming problem with fuzzy-valued objective function and constraints. Firstly, we propose the concept of generalized equilibrium value of fuzzy number, and analyze the properties, further give the operation rules; secondly, we establish a generalized equilibrium value-based fuzzy programming method combined with genetic algorithm; finally, we analyze the characteristic of the above mentioned method through a nonlinear fuzzy programming problems.
