Abstract:A 50-yr-old man with a history of chronic low back pain visited an outpatient rehabilitation clinic. Physical examination revealed a positive Lasegue sign at the right side, mimicking the symptoms and signs similar to that of sciatica, but without motor and sensory deficits. Patient received treatments, such as facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, and caudal epidural injections, but without significant improvement. Anterior-posterior roentgenogram (Fig. 1A) and computed tomography image (Fig. 1B) of the lumbosacral spine showed the presence of pseudo-articulation between the TP of the right fifth lumbar vertebra (L5) and the iliac crest.
