Abstract:During long-term storage of the liquid propellant N2O4, it absorbs H2O to form the N2O4(H2O)n system, and this in turn generates HNO3, HNO2, and other substances in the storage tank because of corrosion, which seriously affects the performance of weaponry. In this work, we carried out computational simulations of N2O4 with different masses of water based on ReaxFF, analyzed the reaction intermediates and products, and investigated the mechanism of the reaction of N2O4 with H2O and of N2O4(H2O)n. The results show that the reaction product ω(HNO3+HNO2) undergoes a rapid growth in the early stage of the reaction and then tends toward dynamic equilibrium; the potential energy of the system decreases with the increase of ω(H2O), the reaction rate increases, and the rate of decomposition of HNO2 to form HNO3 increases. When ω(H2O) is 0.2 or 1.0%, the intermediate products are N2O4H2O or N2O4(H2O)2, respectively, and the reaction proceeds along two paths; when ω(H2O) ≥ 2.0%, N2O4(H2O)3 appears as the intermediate product, HNO3 and HNO2 are directly produced in one step, and a stable current loop can be formed within the whole system.

Abstract:Splitting of N-2 via six-electron reduction and further functionalization to value-added products is one of the most important and challenging chemical transformations in N-2 fixation. However, most N-2 splitting approaches rely on strong chemical or electrochemical reduction to generate highly reactive metal species to bind and activate N-2, which is often incompatible with functionalizing agents. Catalytic and sustainable N-2 splitting to produce metal nitrides under mild conditions may create efficient and straightforward methods for N-containing organic compounds. Herein, we present that a readily available and nonredox (n-Bu)(4)NBr can promote N-2-splitting with a Mo(III) platform. Both experimental and theoretical mechanistic studies suggest that simple X- (X = Br, Cl, etc.) anions could induce the disproportionation of Mo-III[N(TMS)Ar] (3) at the early stage of the catalysis to generate a catalytically active {Mo-II[N(TMS)Ar](3)}(-) species. The quintet Mo-II species prove to be more favorable for N-2 fixation kinetically and thermodynamically, compared with the quartet Mo-III counterpart. Especially, computational studies reveal a distinct heterovalent {Mo-II-N-2-Mo-III} dimeric intermediate for the N equivalent to N triple bond cleavage.

Abstract:The nitro, nitrite, and aci-form isomers and the isomerization reactions of mono-, di-, tri-, and tetranitromethanes (NMs) were computationally investigated. The results show that the isomerization displacement of NO2 by ONO groups is surprisingly thermodynamically favored for the di-, tri-, and tetra-NMs. The molecular stability decreases and the isomerization becomes easier by increasing nitro groups. The largest attraction among substitutes takes place through the central carbon atom in C(ONO)(4) and leads to its higher stability than the C(NO2)(4) isomer. There is a concerted change of the CO-NO, C-ONO, and CON-O bonds in the nitrite isomers, that is, the weakened CO-NO bond is accompanied with the strengthened C-ONO and CON-O bonds, and vice versa. We only succeeded in finding two tight transition states of isomerization reactions from NO2 to ONO in the mono- and di- NMs, whereas isomerization reactions to the aci-forms through an intramolecular hydrogen transfer can always be found. Elucidating N2O Formation during the Cyclic NOx Storage and Reduction Process Using CO as a Reductant

Abstract:The N2O formation pathway and effect of H2O on N2O formation during the NO storage and reduction (NSR) process using CO as a reductant were investigated over a Pt-BaO/Al2O3 catalyst. The NSR activity measurements and transient in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) experiments were performed to evaluate N2O evolution and elucidate the N2O formation mechanism. N2O is formed in the lean, rich, and delay2 phases. In the lean phase, N2O formation is related to the reactions between surface isocyanate and gaseous NO/O-2 and NO is more responsible for N2O formation than O-2. Moreover, N2O production decreases with H2O because of the hydrolysis of isocyanate species. In the rich phase, the amount of N2O formation also decreases in the presence of H2O at a higher temperature because of the high reduction ability of H-2 generated from the water-gas shift (WGS) reaction. During the delay2 phase, N2O is mainly formed by nitrite species reacting with Pt-0-CO. Furthermore, the presence of H2O decreases the stability of nitrites and results in more N2O production at a low temperature.
A Theoretical Study of the Reaction of N(4 S) with Nitrogen Dioxide on the N2O2 Potential Energy Surface

Abstract:The reaction of N(4 S) radical with NO2 molecule has been studied theoretically using density functional theory and ab initio quantum chemistry method. Both singlet and triplet electronic state [N2O2] potential energy surfaces (PESs) are calculated at the G3B3 level of theory. Also, the highly cost-expensive coupled-cluster theory including single and double excitations and perturbative inclusion of triple excitations CCSD(T)/cc-pVTZ single-point energy calculation is performed on the basis of the geometries obtained at the Becke’s three parameter Lee-Yang-Parr B3LYP/6-311++G(d, p) level. On the singlet PES of the title reaction, it is shown that the most feasible pathway should be as follows. The atomic radical N attacking the NO bond of the NO2 molecule first to form the adduct 1 N(NO)O, followed by one of the NO bond broken to give intermediate 2 ONNO, and then to the major products P1 (2NO). On the triplet PES of the title reaction, it is shown that the most favorable pathway should be the atomic radical N attacking the N-atom of NO2 firstly to form the adduct 7 NN(OO), followed by one of the NO bonds breaking to give intermediate 8 NNOO, and then leading to the major products P2 (O2 + N2). As efficient routes to the reduction of NO2 to form N2 and O2 are sought, both kinetic and thermodynamic considerations support the viability of this channel. All the involved transition states for generation of (2NO), (3O + N2O), and (O2 + N2) lie much lower than the reactants. Thus, the novel reaction N + NO2 can proceed effectively even at low temperatures and it is expected to play a role in both combustion and interstellar processes. The other reaction pathways are less competitive due to thermodynamical or kinetic factors. On the basis of the analysis of the kinetics of all path-ways through which the reactions proceed, we expect that the competitive power of reaction pathways may vary with experimental conditions for the title reaction. The calculated reaction heats of formation are in good agreement with that obtained experimentally.

Abstract:Gaseous nitryl azide N4O2 is generated by the heterogeneous reaction of gaseous ClNO2 with freshly prepared AgN3 at −50°C. The geometric and electronic structure of the molecule in the gas phase has been characterized by in situ photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) and quantum chemical calculations. The experimental first vertical ionization energy of N4O2 is 11.39eV, corresponding to the ionization of an electron on the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) {4a″(πnb(N4–N5–N6))}−1. An apparent vibrational spacing of 1600±60cm−1 (νasO1N2O3) on the second band at 12.52eV (πnb(O1–N2–O3)) further confirms the preference of energetically stable chain structure in the gas phase. To complement the experimental results, the potential-energy surface of this structurally novel transient molecule is discussed. Both calculations and spectroscopic results suggest that the molecule adopts a trans-planar chain structure, and a five-membered ring decomposition pathway is more favorable.
Quantum Chemical and Kinetic Studies of N2O Formation During Interaction Between Char(N) and NO: Influence of Oxygen, Active Sites, and Nitrogen Status

Abstract:In order to obtain a deep insight into the N2O formation mechanism in a fluidized bed, density functional theory was used to investigate the interaction between char(N) and NO at a molecular level. Three key influencing factors for the formation of N2O, namely, active sites, nitrogen status, and oxygen molecules, were taken into study. The geometric structures, electron distribution characteristics, and reaction paths were optimized and calculated. The outer orbital electron properties of char(N) and NO indicate that NO acts as an oxidizer, which tends to abstract electrons from char(N) during the char(N)-NO interaction. A stable N2O molecule has a singlet state and presents as a linear molecular structure. The chemisorption on the char surface will weaken the bond energy of NO from 620 to 94.1 kJ/mole, which promotes the catalytic reduction of NO. Active sites on the char surface benefit the reduction of NO to N2, rather than N2O, which indicates that excessive high temperatures will inhibit the production of N2O. The combination of pyridine nitrogen and NO to form N2O needs to overcome a much higher energy barrier of 357.4 kJ/mole. The initial chemisorption of oxygen molecules on the char surface will promote the formation of N2O by lowering the dissociation energy of N2O from the char surface as well as exposing nitrogen to the char surface.
CO$_2$ and NO$_2$ Formation on Amorphous Solid Water

Abstract:The dynamics for molecule formation, relaxation, diffusion, and desorption on amorphous solid water is studied in a quantitative fashion. We aim at characterizing, at a quantitative level, the formation probability, stabilization, energy relaxation and diffusion dynamics of CO$_2$ and NO$_2$ on cold amorphous solid water following atom+diatom recombination reactions. Accurate machine-learned energy functions combined with fluctuating charge models were used to investigate the diffusion, interactions, and recombination dynamics of atomic oxygen with CO and NO on amorphous solid water (ASW). Energy relaxation to the ASW and into water-internal-degrees of freedom were determined from analysis of the vibrational density of states. The surface diffusion and desorption energetics was investigated from extended and nonequilibrium MD simulations. The reaction probability on the nanosecond time scale is determined in a quantitative fashion and demonstrates that surface diffusion of the reactants leads to recombination for initial separations up to 20 Å\/. After recombination both, CO$_2$ and NO$_2$, stabilize by energy transfer to water internal and surface phonon modes on the picosecond time scale. The average diffusion barriers and desorption energies agree with those reported from experiments. After recombination, the triatomic products diffuse easily which contrasts with the equilibrium situation in which both, CO$_2$ and NO$_2$, are stationary on the multi-nanosecond time scale.

A density functional study of heterogeneous formation and decomposition of N2O on the surface of char

Abstract:A comprehensive density functional study was carried out to get an insight into the mechanisms of heterogeneous formation and decomposition of N 2O on the char surface by using a char model with zig-zag configuration. The geometry optimizations of reactants, intermediates, transition states and products were made by using density functional theory at the UB3LYP/6-31G(d) level. On the basis of the reaction pathways analysis, the energies of optimized geometries were calculated and corrected with zero point energy; the relative energies and the change of enthalpy were then worked out. Two different reaction pathways are found for N 2O formation from reactions between gaseous NO and another pre-adsorbed NO on the surface of char, with the energy barriers of 69.3 kJ/mol and 200.0 kJ/mol, respectively. N 2O may also be released through direct attacking pyridinic nitrogen by NO; the highest energy barrier is 418.0 kJ/mol. N 2O can be decomposed to N 2 on the surface of char; the energy barrier is 100.8 kJ/mol. Both the heterogeneous formation and decomposition of N 2O are exothermic. Reaction rate constants for rate-determining steps were calculated with transition state theory. The rate of N 2O destruction is slightly lower than that of N 2O formation on the char surface at low temperature; two rates become close at higher temperature. High temperature is favorable for the heterogeneous decomposition of N 2O.
H-2 and O-2 Evolution from Water Half-Splitting Reactions by Graphitic Carbon Nitride Materials

Abstract:Graphitic carbon nitride compounds were prepared by thermal treatment of C-N-H precursor mixtures (melamine C3N6H9, dicyandiamide C2N4H4). This led to solids based on polymerized heptazine or triazine ring units linked by -N= or -NH- groups. The H content decreased, and the C/N ratio varied between 0.59 and 0.70 with preparation temperatures between 550 and 650 degrees C due to increased layer condensation. The UV-vis spectra exhibited a strong pi-pi* transition near 400 nm with a semiconductor-like band edge extending into the visible range. Samples synthesized at 600-650 degrees C showed an additional absorption near 500 nm that is assigned to n-pi* electronic transitions involving the N lone pairs. These are forbidden for planar symmetric s-triazine or heptazine structures but become allowed as increased condensation causes distortion of the polymeric units. Photocatalysis studies showed there was no correlation between the increased visible absorption due to this feature and H-2 evolution from methanol used for the anodic reaction. In the absence of any cocatalyst the sample synthesized at 550 degrees C showed 1.5 mu mol h(-1) H-2 evolution with UV-vis irradiation, but this dropped to similar to 0.23 mu mol h(-1) when the UV spectrum was blocked. Use of a Pt cocatalyst was required to observe H-2 evolution from the other samples. Using a more powerful (300 W) lamp led to higher H-2 production rates (31.5 mu mol h(-1)) with visible illumination. We suggest the distorted N sites caused by increased polymerization result in electron/hole traps that counter the photocatalytic efficiency. Issues concerning sample porosity are also present. Photocatalytic O-2 evolution was determined for RuO2-coated samples using the 300 W lamp with aqueous AgNO3 solution as the sacrificial agent. The materials all showed production rates similar to 9 mu mol h(-1). A highly crystalline compound containing polytriazine structural units ((C3N3)(2)(NH)(3)center dot LiCl) prepared in this study did not show measurable photocatalytic activity.
Intermediates Involved In The Oxidation Of Nitrogen Monoxide: Photochemistry Of The Cis-N2o2 Center Dot O-2 Complex And Of Sym-N2o4 In Solid Ne Matrices

Abstract:Pure sym-N2O4 isolated in solid Ne was obtained by passing cold neon gas over solid N2O4 at -115 degrees C and quenching the resulting gaseous mixture at 6.3 K. Filtered UV irradiation (260-400 nm) converts sym-N2O4 into trans-ONONO2 a weakly interacting (NO2)(2) radical pair, and traces of the cis-N2O2 center dot O-2 complex. Besides the weakly bound ON-O-2, complex, cis-N2O2 center dot O-2 was also obtained by co-deposition of NO and O-2 in solid Ne at 6.3 K, and both complexes were characterised by their matrix IR spectra. Concomitantly formed cis-N2O2 dissociated on exposure to filtered IR irradiation (400-8000 cm(-1)), and the cis-N2O2 center dot O-2 complex rearranged to sym-N2O4 and trans-ONONO2. Experiments using O-18(2), in place of O-16(2), revealed a non-concerted conversion of cis-N2O2 center dot O-2 into these species, and gave access to four selectively di-O-18-substituted trans-ONONO2 isotopomers. No isotopic scrambling occurred. The IR spectra of sym-N2O4 and of trans-ONONO2 in solid Ne were recorded. IR fundamentals of trans-ONONO2 were assigned based on experimental O-16/18 isotopic shifts and guided by DFT calculations. Previously reported contradictory measurements on cis- and trans-ONONO2 are discussed. Dinitroso peroxide, ONOONO, a proposed intermediate in the IR photoinduced rearrangement of cis-N2O2 center dot O-2 to the various N2O4 species, was not detected. Its absence in the photolysis products indicates a low barrier (<= 10 kJ mol(-1)) for its exothermic O-O bond homolysis into a (NO2)(2) radical pair.

Abstract:Hydrazine nitrate (HN) is an efficient additive for hydrazine based monopropellant to decrease the freezing temperature. Density functional theory calculation was carried out to investigate the catalytic decomposition of HN on Ir(1 0 0) surface. The most stable molecular structure of HN was identified, while the optimized adsorption configurations of HN on Ir(1 0 0) were calculated. Three decomposition pathways over Ir(1 0 0) have been found. The scission of N-O bond in HNO3 group happens in all three pathways. When HN is adsorbed by HNO3 group, the N2H4 group exhibits dehydrogenation when at bridge and desorption at top site. The scission of N-N bond can be found when HN is adsorbed by N2H4 group. The rate expressions based on Arrhenius parameters for referred reactions were obtained by transition state theory. Compared with the activation energy of each elementary reaction, the scission of N-O bond in HNO3 group is key to the decomposition rate of HN.

Abstract:Imidogen (NH) is the simplest nitrogen hydride that plays an important role in combustion and interstellar chemistry, and its combination with H2O is the prototypical amidation reaction of O-H bonds involving a nitrene intermediate. Herein, we report the observation of the elusive water complex of NH, a prereaction complex associated with the amidation reaction in a solid N2 matrix at 10 K. The hydrogen-bonded structure of NH···OH2 (versus HN···HOH) is confirmed via IR spectroscopy with comprehensive isotope labeling (D, 18O, and 15N) and quantum chemical calculations at the UCCSD(T)/aug-cc-pVQZ level of theory. In line with the observed absorption at 350 nm, irradiation of the complex at 365 nm leads to O-H bond insertion, yielding hydroxylamine NH2OH.

Abstract:N2O formation over Pt-BaO/Al2O3 catalysts was found to be involved in a complex reaction network induced by C3H6 evolutions during NOx storage reduction process. C3H6 evolutions in the rich period travelled along cracking to CxHy(ad), partial oxidation to COad and followed by NCOad production. In the lean period, residual NCOad reacting with the introduced NO/O-2 led to the formation of N2O. In the rich period, N2O was originated from the chemical adsorption of NO on Pt-0 surface caused by C3H6 reduction. In addition, both H2O and CO2 in the feed had significant influences on N2O formation in rich period. In the presence of H2O, high performance of water-gas shift was found at T >= 300 degrees C, and steam reforming of C3H6 occurred at T >= 350 degrees C. These reactions produced a large number of Had that facilitated NH3 production and thereby decreased N2O formation. When CO2 was introduced to the feed, CO2 reforming of C3H6 appeared at T >= 300 degrees C as a result of COad production. These parts of COad were responsible for the increase in N2O formation. Abstract:Understanding the formation and evolution of N 2 O in NH 3-fueled combustion has implications for pollutant control and for developing a more accurate kinetic model of NH 3 . A previous study on an NH 3 /N 2 O/N 2 mixture showed a significant discrepancy between experimental measurements and modeling predictions. The importance of the highlighted reaction NH 2 + N 2 O = N 2 H 2 + NO, whose rate constant remains substantially uncertain, is still an open question. In the present work, two NH 3 /N 2 O/Ar mixtures, referred to as fuel-lean and fuel-rich cases, respectively, were experimentally investigated using JSRs over 800 -1225 K under atmospheric pressure. Various diagnostic techniques, including synchrotron vacuum ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometry (SVUV-PIMS), gas chromatography (GC), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), were employed to detect the detailed product species. The key reaction NH 2 + N 2 O was calculated for the first time, and the kinetic model was updated based on the theoretical calculation and interpretation of the experimental observations. The results showed that the rate constants of N x H y + N 2 O reactions, including NH 2 + N 2 O and NH + N 2 O, were significantly overestimated in previous models. This results in the non-dominant role for this reaction class, even in the scenario where N 2 O appears in large amounts. On the contrary, the thermal dissociation of N 2 O (N 2 O ( +M) = N 2 + O ( +M)) controlled the reactivity of the title system due to its chain-initiated role that triggered the consumption of NH 3 . The fate of amine radical (NH 2 ) was critical to determine the nitrogen chemistry in this system. Instead of being oxidated, NH 2 was converted mainly via amine-amine steps, which implied that the title system had particular implications for understanding the NH 3 pyrolysis or oxidation under fuel-rich conditions.
Visualization experimental study on NO2 condensation process: Insights into gas-fog-liquid-ice mode evolution

Abstract:Pure nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is a profitable feedstock for production of various chemicals. The condensation technology plays an essential role in NO2 enrichment during production or resource recovery from industrial exhausts, which, however, remains challenging in process optimization due to the lack of thorough comprehension on NO2 condensation behavior. In this work, the visualization experiments of NO2 condensation on the vertical SS316 surface at varying temperatures, NO2 mole fractions and volume flow rates in the absence and presence of non-condensable gas (NCG) were conducted. Three major NO2 condensation modes, the fog mode, the droplet-streamlet-film (DSF) coexistence mode, and the freezing mode, have been identified. The formation process of NO2 gas-fog-droplet-DSF mode as well as the occurrence frequency of streamlets (OFS) was quantified under different conditions. The higher OFS was found to contribute to greater overall heat transfer coefficient and condensate amount, showing the optimal parameters at each condition. Deeper insights into gas-fog, gas-liquid, and gas-ice phase transformations for NO2 were gained, revealing the unique effects of dimerization of NO2 to N2O4 on condensation. The dimerization triggers the facile formation (< 10 s) of N2O4 fog with increased intermolecular forces, the heterogeneity of heat and mass transfer in DSF mode with complex heat resistance network and condensate states, and the melting-thickening cycle of ice layer in the freezing process along with the release of dimerization reaction heat. The findings render a microscopic view of favorable heat and mass transfer towards optimal NO2 condensation strategies in practical uses.

Abstract:As an undesired detrimental byproduct in selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 over MnOx/TiO2 catalysts, N2O has received great concern in recent years. Its formation pathways and probable mechanism, especially the sources of N and O, were explored by the application of contrastive experiments and targeted characterization analysis in the work. Experimental results showed that both NH3 oxidation reactions and non-selective catalytic reduction (NSCR) of NO with NH3 accounted for N2O formation. The source of N in N2O formation was not only from NH3 involved in NH3 oxidation reactions but also from NH3 and NO involved in NSCR reactions of NO with NH3, while the source of O was closely related to O-2 and catalyst oxygen. XPS results confirmed the participation of surface absorbed oxygen in N2O formation during all experiments with different O-2 concentrations, and the participation proportion decreased as introduced O-2 concentrations increased. Only a little lattice oxygen acted as the oxidizer and provided O for N2O formation, and with sufficient O-2 in the reactor, the participation of lattice oxygen seemed negligible. Gaseous O-2 was an important source of O in N2O formation, and its role strengthened with the increase of its concentration.
Formation and decomposition of chemically activated and stabilized hydrazine

Abstract:Recombination of two amidogen radicals, NH(2) (X(2)B1), is relevant to hydrazine formation, ammonia oxidation and pyrolysis, nitrogen reduction (fixation), and a variety of other N/H/X combustion, environmental, and interstellar processes. We have performed a comprehensive analysis of the N(2)H(4) potential energy surface, using a variety of theoretical methods, with thermochemical kinetic analysis and master equation simulations used to treat branching to different product sets in the chemically activated NH(2) + NH(2) process. For the first time, iminoammonium ylide (NH(3)NH), the less stable isomer of hydrazine, is involved in the kinetic modeling of N(2)H(4). A new, low-energy pathway is identified for the formation of NH(3) plus triplet NH, via initial production of NH(3)NH followed by singlet-triplet intersystem crossing. This new reaction channel results in the formation of dissociated products at a relatively rapid rate at even moderate temperatures and above. A further novel pathway is described for the decomposition of activated N(2)H(4), which eventually leads to the formation of the simple products N(2) + 2H(2), via H(2) elimination to cis-N(2)H(2). This process, termed as "dihydrogen catalysis", may have significant implications in the formation and decomposition chemistry of hydrazine and ammonia in diverse environments. In this mechanism, stereoselective attack of cis-N(2)H(2) by molecular hydrogen results in decomposition to N(2) with a fairly low barrier. The reverse termolecular reaction leading to the gas-phase formation of cis-N(2)H(2) + H(2) achieves non-heterogeneous catalytic nitrogen fixation with a relatively low activation barrier (77 kcal mol(-1)), much lower than the 125 kcal mol(-1) barrier recently reported for bimolecular addition of H(2) to N(2). This termolecular reaction is an entropically disfavored path, but it does describe a new means of activating the notoriously unreactive N(2). We design heterogeneous analogues of this reaction using the model compound (CH(3))(2)FeH(2) as a source of the H(2) catalyst and apply it to the decomposition of cis-diazene. The reaction is seen to proceed via a topologically similar transition state, suggesting that our newly described mechanism is general in nature.

Abstract:A detailed theoretical study of the potential energy surface of poorly understood ion-molecule reaction of NH(2)(-) and O(2) (a(1)Δ(g)) is explored at the density functional theory B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p), ab initio of QCISD/6-311++G(d,p) and CCSD(T)/6-311++G(3df, 2pd) (single-point) theoretical levels for the first time. It is shown that there are six total possible products from P(1) to P(6) on the singlet potential energy surface. Among these, the charge-transfer product P(1) (NH(2) + O(2)(-)) is the most favorable product with predominant abundances, whereas P(4) (NO(-) + H(2)O) and P(2) (HNO + OH(-)) may be the second and third feasible products followed by the almost neglectable P(3) (NO(2)(-) + H(2)), while P(5) (c-NO(2)(-) + H(2)) and P(6) (ONO(-) + H(2)) will not be observed due to their either high barriers or being secondary products. The present theoretical study points out that besides P(1) (NH(2) + O(2)(-)) and P(2) (HNO + OH(-)), P(4) (NO(-) + H(2)O) should be also observed, which is different from the previous experiment study by Anthony Midey et al. in 2008. In addition, almost all of the reaction pathways to products are exothermic and the reaction rate should be very fast since the reaction barriers are very low except for P(5) (c-NO(2)(-) + H(2)) which is in agreement with the measured total reaction rate constant k = 9.0 × 10(-10) cm(3)s(-1) at 300 K in the experiment study. It is expected that the present theoretical study may be helpful for the understanding of the reaction mechanism related to NHX(-), NX(2)(-), PHX(-), and PX(2)(-) (X = H, F, and Cl).
