Abstract:Tea culture is a part of the outstanding Chinese traditional culture.Culture schema default is a common phenomenon in the translation of tea culture.As the basis of cognitive comprehension,schema is also an open knowledge system which can be amended,developed and reconstructed along with the constant accumulation of cognitive practices.Therefore,source culture-oriented policy should be adopted as far as possible when translators deal with tea culture schema defaults in translation.And under the guideline,the source culture schema should be properly transplanted or activated in the target language so that the original culture features can be maintained to an utmost extent.
