Investigationon the Influencing Factors of Anxiety and Depression Level of Inpatients with Liver Cirrhosis

Abstract:Objective To explore the influcencing factors on the level of anxiety and depression of inpatients with liver cirrhosisso that theortical basis would be provied for nurses to carry out interfering measures decreasing the level of anxiety and depression in these patients.Methods One hundred and five patients with liver cirrhosis were chosen randomly and each was given a questionaire to fill in.Results The general level of psychological health in patients with liver cirrhosis was poor Female gender,age over 55,educational degree less than college,unemployment,disease course over 3 years and presence of complications such as ascites or bleeding were factors that would cause higher level of anxiety and depression(P0.01).Social support and self-value factor were negatively correlation with the level of anxiety and depression in these patients(P0.01).The regression analysis indicated that social support and self-value were the most important influcencing factors on the level of anxiety and depression of patients.Conclusion There were many influcencing factors that would affect anxiety and depression level of patients with liver cirrhosis.Improving social support and self-value would be helpful to improve their level of anxiety and depression.
