As we look forward to the forthcoming AMSSM annual meeting taking place in Baltimore, USA from 12 April 2024 to 17 April 2024, we hope this special issue of BJSM whets your appetite for what is sure to be a conference packed with the newest evidence and opinion from some of the world's leaders in sports medicine. Leadership and teamwork The theme of this year's annual meeting is 'Physician Leaders in Sports Medicine.'
