Abstract:Currently,moral education in China's colleges and universities faces two major problems.One is the disintegrations between theory and perception,knowledge cultivation and behavior cultivation,and rationality and values;the other is priority of "the transference of knowledge to practice" over "the balance between emotion and integrity".The existence of these two problems severely interfere the implementation of the two major tasks undertaken by moral education in colleges and universities:one is to help students to fulfill their own value and duties;the other is to help students cultivate lofty ideals,moral integrity,good education and discipline,which are all essential for social construction.In order to solve the problem,we propose that institutionalized education should be introduced into the curriculum as a model for the solution of such problems as mentioned above.Through the construction and development of an institutionalized setting and through the emphasis and implementation of institutionalized education,the disintegration between "knowledge and morality" and "practice and morality" will be appropriated and "the integration of knowledge and practice" will be achieved.
