Abstract:The rapid development of the Chinese Baijiu Tourism industry in China has led to the emergence of Baijiu tourist attractions as valuable tourism resources. This growth is attributed to the transformation and upgrading of China's tourism sector. Collaboration among the Baijiu industry, regional governments, Baijiu consumers, and enthusiasts of Baijiu culture has played a vital role in driving the significant growth of the Chinese Baijiu Tourism industry. However, there is a pressing need for comprehensive academic research and analysis to ensure the sustainable development of these resources. To address this gap, this study utilizes the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, leveraging expert knowledge, to assess 27 indicators of Chinese Baijiu Tourism resources. The analysis aims to determine the value, characteristics, and development potential of Chinese Baijiu Tourism sites. Building upon these findings, an evaluation system is constructed to assess the value and potential for sustainable development of Chinese Baijiu Tourism sites. The results of this study offer valuable guidance to local governments and decision-makers in their efforts to develop and harness China's Chinese Baijiu Tourism resources in a scientifically informed and sustainable manner, ensuring long-term viability and positive socio-economic impacts. Importantly, while this research is region-specific, the methodologies and insights derived from this study can inform the development and evaluation of liquor and industrial tourism sites globally. By examining the collaborative strategies among stakeholders and the application of the AHP method, other regions can adopt similar frameworks to evaluate their unique cultural and industrial tourism resources. This comparative approach not only highlights the universal applicability of sustainable tourism practices but also encourages the cross-cultural exchange of successful tourism development strategies.
