Abstract:Underwater Motion Detection In article number 2407529, Patrizio Ra?a, Zeyu Zhang, and Aifang Yao develop conductive hydrogels by combining the use of hydrophobic interactions as physical cross‐links and a deep eutectic solvent. These gels present excellent properties, that are preserved even in an underwater environment, and are self‐healing. Besides the proposed use as underwater sensors and communication devices, this type of material has potential in the medical field, where it could be used to monitor motion in patients affected by or recovering from various conditions, or in constructions, where it could be used to monitor movements, cracks, and vibrations in structures.
