Abstract:China's total economic development is significantly impacted by the industry's growing digitalization and the nation's growing need for natural resources. Lately, China has led the way in digitalization and has seen rapid economic expansion. High economic growth is being produced admirably by the Chinese economy. This is partly attributable to increased levels of technological advancement and other elements. The interplay between the digitalization of the economy and Natural resources is an important topic in the context of economic growth, particularly in China. Digitalization has been credited with boosting productivity, creativity, and job creation. Hence, it is important to examine how technology and natural resources work together and how that affects China's economic growth. This study investigates the impact of digitalization, natural resources, renewable energy consumption and energy efficiency on China's economic growth from 1988 to 2021. The study uses a quantitative regression analysis to examine how these factors affect economic growth. It also proposes policy suggestions for maximizing the beneficial impact of digitalization and minimizing the bad effects of natural resources on the economy. The results of this study may help decision-makers make better decisions and add to the academic literature about how digitalization and NRs interact in developing economies.
